Nanozyme-Based Food Safety Monitoring
Food safety has become a major global challenge, not only causing great harm to human health, but also severely restricting import-export trade and industrial development. Therefore, the development of efficient and accurate food safety detection technologies is essential to ensure food safety. Nanozymes have shown promising applications in food safety due to their unique advantages of adjustable activity, controllable function, easy modification, low cost, easy mass production, good environmental tolerance and high stability.
With the development of nanoscience, sensing technologies, theoretical calculations and other fields, nano-zymes have been rapidly developing in the food safety field, showing great potential applications. Creative Enzymes, as a leading global company, is committed to helping our customers achieve effective and successful research. We have developed a large number of nano-zymes-based high-performance optical and electrochemical sensors for the detection of pesticides, veterinary drugs, mycotoxins, pathogens, heavy metals, and prohibited additives in food.

-
The excessive and unreasonable use of pesticides has caused the problem of pesticide residue pollution in agricultural products, water, soil and air. Most pesticides are difficult to degrade and have a certain toxicity, so pesticide residues in food and the environment can cause great harm to humans.
-
In order to achieve rapid, accurate and sensitive detection of pesticide residues, Creative Enzymes develops a series of rapid analysis methods for pesticide residues based on nanozymes and achieves good application results.
-
Heavy metal ions are difficult to biodegrade and easily accumulate in the human body through the food chain, causing irreversible damage to the human digestive system, reproductive system, nervous system, and cardiovascular system.
-
In this situations, Creative Enzymes develops methods to detect heavy metals based on various nanozymes, including Ag / Pt, Pd, C, MoS2 nanozymes and others.
-
Excessive amounts of veterinary drugs remain in animal-derived foods such as meat, eggs and milk. These toxic drugs and their metabolites can accumulate through the food chain and pose a threat to human health.
-
Creative Enzymes develops various sensitive, economical, reliable and convenient veterinary drug detection methods with nanozymes, which are able to successfully apply to milk, honey, eggs and other samples.
-
Mycotoxins are often widespread in daily life. Although mycotoxin contamination can be reduced by controlling mycotoxin contamination during crop growth, post-harvest storage and production, it cannot be completely eliminated.
-
In addition to the development of colorimetric sensors, Creative Enzymes also explores electrochemical, fluorescence and other sensing detection methods to detect mycotoxins with nanozymes.
-
Foodborne pathogens are bacteria, viruses, parasites and some fungi that cause foodborne diseases.
-
Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay is one of the most commonly used methods for the detection of such pollutants. Creative Enzymes uses nanozymes instead of natural biological enzymes to improve the detection sensitivity and reduce the costs, such as Pd / Pt, Pt / Au, Fe3O4, Ag, Au nanozymes and others.
We have also developed nanozymes that can also be used in the detection of other contaminants in food, such as prohibited additives, organic contaminants and some inorganics.
Creative Enzymes is always committed to providing our customers with a high quality and satisfactory service. If you are interested in our services or have questions, please feel free to contact us or make an online inquiry.
