We develop a polyurethane condom (PUC) coated with Ag nanozymes that may completely inactivate HIV-1 infectivity after contact with Ag nanozymes. Similarly, PUC coated with Ag nanozymes shows strong inactivation activity against both HSV-1 and HSV-2. This PUC can not only physically isolate host cells from the virus, but also inactivate virus infectivity, providing good personal protective equipment against transmitted diseases.
