Enzyme Extraction and Isolation

We offer enzyme extraction and isolation, which is the process of extracting enzymes from complex organisms and passing them through different separation and purification techniques to finally obtain highly efficient and pure enzyme extracts. Enzyme extraction and isolation, therefore, occupy an important position in enzyme synthesis. We utilize advanced enzyme extraction and isolation techniques to provide tools to ensure that highly stable, pure, and active enzymes are obtained.

Enzyme Biosynthesis

In enzyme biosynthesis, we utilize genetic engineering, such as gene editing technology, which can effectively improve the ability of microorganisms to produce enzymes by fermentation through targeted and accurate modification of microorganisms' genes. In addition, we utilize evolutionary experiments to obtain mutant strains with targeted properties by introducing mutations into genes edited for biocatalysis i.e., through the use of various mutation methods, and ultimately change the performance of the enzyme through continuous mutation and screening. Currently, we synthesize enzymes mainly through the following experimental protocols.

  • Microbial fermentation for enzyme production.
  • Plant cell culture enzyme production.
  • Animal cell culture enzyme production.

Chemical Synthesis of Enzymes

  • Design. The target enzyme's amino acid sequence must first be designed. This method entails altering or developing a completely new enzyme based on the sequence of an existing enzyme.
  • Chemical Synthesis. Chemical synthesis techniques like liquid phase synthesis or solid phase synthesis are frequently used in enzyme synthesis processes. To create the amino acid sequence and guarantee appropriate target enzyme folding, we use chemical synthesis.
  • Folding and Modification. An enzyme's amino acid sequence must be folded and changed after it has been created in order for the enzyme to operate. This may involve supplying the required cofactors or coenzymes as well as directing the enzyme to fold correctly under particular circumstances.
  • Activity Testing and Optimization. To ensure good catalytic activity, we shall test the produced enzyme's activity at this stage. To ensure high catalytic efficiency and good stability of the enzyme, we will then further enhance the performance of the first synthetic enzyme created.
