Creative Enzymes is particularly engaged in providing outstanding assay services for oxidoreductases. We are equipped with the best-performed equipment, enriched with the updated knowledge, and backed with the advanced techniques. The testing services for NADPH-hemoprotein reductase in Creative Enzymes are guaranteed with rapid turnovers and high accuracy.
NADPH-hemoprotein reductase (EC 1.6.2.4) is a multidomain enzyme, composed of an FMN-containing flavodoxin-like domain associated with an FAD-containing ferredoxin reductase-like domain. During the reaction, electrons from NADPH flow first to flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), then to flavin mononucleotide (FMN), and finally to heme in the redox partner. By using its two flavin cofactors and a peculiar internal electron transfer cycle, NADPH-hemoprotein reductase is able to split the dielectronic flux of NADPH by sequential electron transfer to external acceptors.
In humans, the cytochromes P450 (cyt P450) are one of the most important families of proteins involved in the biosynthesis and degradation of a vast number of endogenous compounds, and the detoxification and biodegradation of most foreign compounds. NADPH-hemoprotein reductase acts on all known microsomal cytochromes P450 and catalyzes the transfer of electrons. As electron transfer is a fundamental process in all living organisms, this enzyme distributes in many different cells and species. Meanwhile, due to the reductive activation of the anti-cancer prodrugs, the enzyme is also a target for anti-cancer therapy. For the vital position in organisms, there are an increasing number of studies aim at the structure as an attempt to elucidate the relationship between conformations and functions. Creative Enzymes provides reliable assay services for NADPH-hemoprotein reductase, which will benefit the research of substrate specificity and mutant enzymes activity determination.
Creative Enzymes is one of the few companies that provide professional measurement for NADPH-hemoprotein reductase. We have the capability to process a large quantity of samples at one time with consistent high quality of the results. Creative Enzymes is definitely the best choice for enzyme activity testing for any research purpose.
