Description
Native amino peptidase M from porcine kidney. Metalloprotease that hydrolyzes N-terminal amino acids from almost all unsubstituted oligopeptides. Does not cleave X-Pro bonds or N-blocked amino acids. Useful in peptide sequencing. Inhibited by EDTA, bestatin, and amastatin.
