Description
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) is part of a coenzyme needed for the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids, and for the metabolism of carbohydrates. Vitamin B12 plays a role in the synthesis of myelin. The compound is also used as an antipernicious anemia factor.
