TAK-715 is a potent specific inhibitor of the p38α MAP kinase with an IC50 value of 7.1 nM. It inhibited TNF-α production by 87.6% in mice at 10 mg/kg, po and has potential for treatment of TNF-α mediated inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthriti.
