Schizophyllan (Sonifilan, SPG) is a neutral extracellular polysaccharide produced by the fungus Schizophyllum commune. SPG can activate the vitality of TC cells, NK cells, and macrophages, and can promote the secretion of various lymphokines such as IL-1, IL-2, IL-3, and IFN, which has the effect of enhancing immune function.
