Description
Sodium protoporphyrin is a liver function improvement agent, with the promotion of cell tissue respiration, improve protein and sugar metabolism, anti-complement binding and other effects. Animal tests show that it has the effect of significantly reducing aminotransferase and other enzymes on carbon tetrachloride-induced liver injury, and can improve amino acid metabolism, increase hepatic blood flow, and improve the role of hepatocyte protein.
Applications
It is suitable for acute hepatitis, chronic persistent hepatitis, and chronic active hepatitis. It is also effective for cirrhosis, cholecystitis, and cholelithiasis. Clinically, it has been used for various types of viral hepatitis, leading to symptom improvement, liver size reduction, and improvements in indicators such as aminotransferase levels, turbidity tests, and jaundice index.
