Platostoma palustre, commonly known as Chinese mesona, is a species of plant belonging to the genus Platostoma of the mint family. Studies have pointed out that the various active ingredients contained in platostoma palustre have the effects of lowering blood fat, blood sugar, blood pressure, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral.
