Collagen is a representative component of the extracellular matrix (ECM). Palmitoyl tripeptide-1 (Pal-GHK), in which GHK is derived from a fragment on the collagen chain of type I, promotes the synthesis of type I collagen in the organism, and has an obvious regulatory and promotional effect on collagen synthesis in skin cells.
