Description
Mangiferin, a carbonyl ketone glycoside of tetrahydroxypyrazone, belongs to the bis-phenylpyrazone class of flavonoids. Mangiferin has a wide range of pharmacological effects such as anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic, antibacterial, immunomodulatory, hypoglycemic, antioxidant and so on.
