Description
Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, sometimes called MAP, is a white or yellowish powdered substance. MAP can be enzymatically cleaved to ascorbic acid by the enzyme phosphatase in the skin, which plays a physiological role. This means that it can enter into the cell and be converted into vitamin C.
Functions:
1. Inhibit tyrosinase activity, restore melanin, with spot whitening effect.
2. It can eliminate oxygen free radicals after entering the body, thus it has the function of removing wrinkles and anti-aging.
3. It has synergistic effect with vitamin E.
