Description
A heme-thiolate protein (P-450). It probably forms 2-hydroxyliquiritigenin which spontaneously forms licodione. NADH can act instead of NADPH, but more slowly.

liquiritigenin + NADPH + H+ + O2 = licodione + NADP+ + H2O
