Description
The enzyme acts in the opposite direction. In Ocimum basilicum (sweet basil), Clarkia breweri and Petunia hybrida only isoeugenol is formed. However in Pimpinella anisum (anise) only anol is formed in vivo, although the cloned enzyme does produce isoeugenol.
