Description
Hexapeptide-11 is a naturally occurring peptide originally isolated from yeast extract. It is able to act on dermal fibroblasts to induce extracellular matrix metalloproteinase activity and inhibit cell migration.
Hexapeptide-11 stimulates the expression of various transmembrane proteins, growth factors and stress proteins, and promotes the synthesis of collagen, elastin and extracellular matrix components. It effectively improves skin elasticity, increases firmness, supplements the proteoglycan deficiency of aging skin, improves epidermal adhesion, enhances water retention, reduces wrinkles, fights aging, and restores suppleness and firmness to the skin.
