Description
Hemin is a compound of iron porphyrin composed of four porphyrin rings and one divalent iron atom, molecular formula C34H32ClFeN4O4, molecular weight 651.96, extracted from pig's blood.
It is recognized by modern medicine as a biological iron source with high absorption rate and good effect in the prevention and treatment of iron-deficiency anemia, with no iron-fishy smell and no stimulation of the stomach and intestines.
Applications
It is the preferred raw material for the production of natural iron supplement food, medicine, health care products and cosmetics.

Solubility
