GSK690693 is a novel ATP competitive, pan-AKT kinase inhibitor. GSK690693 can inhibit akt1, akt2 and akt3 with IC50 of 2 nM, 13 nM and 9 nM, respectively. GSK690693 block the activity of akt kinase and bind in the ATP binding pocket. GSK690693 potently inhibits intracellular AKT activity as measured by the inhibition of the phosphorylation levels of GSK3beta.
