Description
A heme-thiolate protein (cytochrome P-450). The enzyme, found in Lepidoptera (moths and butterflies), is specific for farnesoate (cf. EC 1.14.13.202, methyl farnesoate epoxidase). It is involved in the synthesis of juvenile hormone.
