Formed from pig chymotrypsinogen C, and from cattle subunit II of procarboxypeptidase A. Reacts more readily with Tos-Leu-CH2Cl than Tos-Phe-CH2Cl in contrast to chymotrypsin. In peptidase family S1 (trypsin family)
