Description
Bifidobacterium lactis idcc 4301 is a probiotic strain derived from the feces of breast-fed infants, with unique abilities in regulating the gut microbiota, reducing inflammation, inhibiting the growth of fat cells, and regulating key metabolic hormones. Studies have shown that Bifidobacterium lactis idcc 4301 can change lipid metabolism and decrease fat accumulation by suppressing fat synthesis while enhancing fat breakdown. Furthermore, B. lactis IDCC 4301 also affects the levels of leptin in the body, a hormone related to body fat. A reduction in leptin levels has been observed in both mice and human subjects supplemented with this probiotic, indicating a direct effect of this probiotic on hormones associated with obesity.
