Description
Alginic acid is a natural polysaccharide extracted from kelp, which is a mixture of the following two glucuronic acids. The product is light yellow powder, insoluble in water.
Applications
It can be combined with many kinds of ions to form alginate series products used in the production of food additives, such as sodium alginate, potassium alginate, calcium alginate and so on.
It can be used as auxiliary material for the production of Gaikoupine, disintegrating agent for tablets; PPS preparation for new drugs with strong dispersing emulsifying property.
Utilizing its adsorption property for wastewater purification treatment.
