Reaction
Cleavage of the Leu┼Leu bond in synthetic tetradecapeptide renin substrate (horse), to produce angiotensin I, but not active on natural angiotensinogen, unlike renin (EC 3.4.23.15). Also hydrolyses Bz-Arg-p-nitroanilide
