Description
The enzyme, originally characterized from the thermophilic anaerobic bacterium Thermoanaerobacter sp. X514, catalyses a reversible reaction. cf. EC 2.4.1.340, 1,2-β-oligomannan phosphorylase.

Store it at +4 ºC for short term. For long term storage, store it at -20 ºC～-80 ºC.
Reaction
β-D-mannopyranosyl-(1→2)-D-mannopyranose + phosphate = D-mannopyranose + α-D-mannose 1-phosphate
