Bacillus megaterium is an aerobic, spore-forming, Gram-positive bacterium with a diameter greater than 1.0 μm. It has the characteristics of fast reproduction, strong vitality, and safety. It is a beneficial soil bacterium that is not only environmentally friendly, safe for food crops, but also harmless to humans and animals. Bacillus megaterium can decompose organic phosphorus compounds such as lecithin or nucleic acids, and can degrade organic phosphorus in the soil very well.
