PtRu nanozymes exhibit both pro-oxidative and anti-oxidative functions. On the one hand, they can catalyze oxidation of organic substrate molecules and metal ions, and on the other hand, they can effectively remove free radicals and living molecules. Based on the hydrogen peroxide mimetic enzyme activity, they try to use PtRu nanozymes to protect the natural active product from oxidative degradation.
